Marcela Pinilla

Marcela Pinilla is a Colombian Latin/Jazz Singer/Songwriter - Her musical journey has taken her around the world. Her very first performance was at the age of 5 and her first international tour at age 15. Extensive touring led to her moving to Southeast Asia for eight years before migrating to the US.

She arrived in Memphis in 2009 and while there she collaborated with The Memphis Jazz Orchestra, Orquesta Caliente and Memphis Symphony Orchestra among others. She released her first EP in 2010 and her album PASSION features collaborations with Grammy award winners saxophonist Kirk Whalum, and bassist Victor Wooten.

Today, she calls Music City Nashville home where she had been nominated several time as best jazz vocalist in the Nashville Industry Music Awards and has performed in notable stages in the city such as the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and the Bridgestone Arena among others. She is also a teaching artist for the Tennessee Performing Arts Center for Disney Musicals in Schools. 

Over the past year she’s been focusing more in her coaching business and love for helping others unleashed the power of their voice.
